History of Puppetry
in Canada

Belle and Ted Kendall

Belle and Ted Kendall developed an interest in puppetry after their children left home, studying first with George Merten and then with the Hamilton Marionette Club. The Kendalls later retired to Mackavoy Lake and set up the Rainy Day Marionettes, which performed for campers on rainy days.
